As a former Federal Forest Permit Specialist Ray Martinez was responsible for obtaining approval for various permits such as to build roads and locations to film on federal land. Taking that discipline and love for protocol, Ray approaches his characters with a voracious integrity and tenacity. When Ray is not on set shooting, he can be found working around the house with his wife and working hard to replenish Earth's need for trees and other plants and playing the violin as much as possible.
