Stevie-Jean Placek is an LA-based actor, writer, and producer whose voice is shaped by a love of folklore, dark comedy, and the quiet strangeness of small-town life. She’s drawn to women on the edge of transformation. She produced and starred in Lady Lazarus, which premiered at the 2024 Phoenix Film Festival. Fun fact: her last name means “short cake” or “pancake,” fitting her love of baking and sharing pastries in Larchmont.
