Maarit is an actor, clown, and writer from Helsinki, Finland, based in NYC. She is currently an artist resident at Ars Nova Theater where she is developing a show that will premiere in June 2024. She is the other half of Tall Women Productions - creating new works for theater and film. Maarit loves to explore the absurdity, tragedy and complexity of humans through her work and she is known for her fearless commitment and presence on stage.
