Sumari Matthew is a Brooklyn girl trained in Film, TV and Theater. Inspired to act while working as a film projectionist in college, she briefly studied acting in Loyola University New Orleans. After moving back to NYC, she continued her training with The Malisa Theatre Academy as well as The Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
