It all started when Stewart Marshall began working for uncut casting. Which led him to central casting. The background and extra work granted him the experience needed to understand how being on a 'real' set works. After joining Backstage he worked for free on a short film, the scene made the cutting room floor. Later he worked again for free this time on a feature film which was his first role transitioning from Background to a more prominent character.
