Sheetal Gandhi is a National Dance Performance (NDP) and MAP Fund award-winning director/choreographer, actor and educator. Her work has been described as “eloquent, inventive, virtuosic dance-theater” by the Philadelphia Inquirer utilizing “incisive commentary offset by brilliant touches of humor” (Narthaki). Gandhi uses movement, complex rhythmic structures, humor, theatricality and live singing to craft virtuosic and evocative physical/vocal vocabularies that are sophisticated yet accessible.
