Born in Detroit, Michigan and the daughter of immigrants from Haiti, Sasha began performing theater in high school and continued theatre and film studies at The University of Michigan. Compère's breakthrough role was as a series regular, Laura Greene, on season one of the TBS comedy Miracle Workers. Other notable credits include a series regular on HBO's Love Life, starring Anna Kendrick, and a role in the Netflix film Uncorked with Mamoudou Athie.
