Sara Thigpen is an award-winning actor and director whose work focuses on unlikely characters in extraordinary circumstances. Originally from (very) rural NC, she received a BFA in Acting/Directing with honors from UNC-Greensboro. After graduation and a short stint in regional theater, she moved to NYC, and for the next 20+ years, immersed herself in downtown and developmental theater. In the 20s she began to add commercials and short films into the mix and eagerly awaits every new collaboration on set.
