We’ve heard it a million times– “representation matters”. But it does! And the entertainment industry plays a big part in that. As a dark-skin American girl with African features, I didn’t grow up seeing myself in my favorite movies and tv shows. But the industry is shifting and I am excited to be a part of it. I come alive when a director yells “action” or when I walk onto a stage and it’s thrilling to know I’m helping change people’s perspective on themselves and each other. And that’s why I love to act.
