Maura Megan Knowles is an actor/singer/writer. Her talents have led to a wide range of projects, from Francis Ford Coppola’s Gidget, to the award-winning rock musical Bare. She has starred in a number of feature films, sharing the silver screen with Jeffrey Donovan, Laura Prepon, Scott Wolff, Anne Meara, and Warren Beatty, as well as a featured vocalist on numerous CDs. Inspired by her NDE (near-death experience) she wrote Insult to Injury, a musical-comedy series turning to her Irish American roots.
