Matt Charles has a varied background that informs his acting, hosting and writing. He has served as a New York City special investigator, working sex and drug crimes involving children, and took time away from the industry to serve his alma mater (University of Virginia) as a spokesperson when it was experiencing a number of crises and help his hometown with economic and education development efforts. Matt holds a doctorate and teaches graduate-level strategic communications courses for top-tier universities.
