Laura started formally dancing at the age of 12 in Caracas, Venezuela. She studied street styles, jazz, and Latin jazz. Her professional career started when she was hired as a dancer and actress at the age of 14 by Venevision, a Venezuelan TV network where she was part of many TV shows. She has also danced in live shows as a backup dancer for for many artist. Since moving to New York City she continues her training in dance and has taken some of the biggest stages in the city including Radio City Music Hall.
