A simple twist of fate changed everything. After boarding the USS Nimitz for a 2005 deployment to the Persian Gulf, Chris' story caught the attention of Producers from ICON Productions. His personal story of struggle and sacrifice would help carry the unprecedented EMMY winning series to television viewers around the world. After his chance encounter with the film industry, Chris separated from the military and in 2014 moved to Los Angeles to begin training as an actor. In a sense, finding his mission in life.
