Acclaimed in the New York Times for her role on the show Atlanta, Angela Ray is an actress, author, poet, and speaker. She is the author of the books, Blackberry Whispers, Rays of Motivation, and Megastar Student Leadership. Angela is the recipient of the George Moses Horton Award for poetry. She was commissioned to pen poetry for Beverly E. Smith, the 26th National President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Sylvia & Larry Leon Hamlin, founders of the National Black Theatre Festival among others.
