Brooklyn-born and Atlanta-raised, Alaya Lee Walton has a career spanning more than fifteen years. After spending many years on the stage, she began her career on screen with credits in several student and independent films. She has since worked alongside Vivica A. Fox on the Lifetime Movie Network films, The Wrong Stepfather and The Wrong Real Estate, where she starred as Fox’s daughter. She was offered in Fox’s directorial debut, The Couch, as the lead role, starring alongside, Nicki Micheaux.
